'Tis the season for runny noses and nights with no sleep worrying about your little one's mysterious bouts with fever and such. I am currently using SR Pediatrics for my child's care and I have to say, unfortunately, that I am less than happy with that office. My son is 18 months old and I have been fortunate enough to only frequent their office two times due to illness outside of the regular check up visits. So, my son is a good "well baby".

The doctors are great with the exception of one of the weekend docs that took him off medication and roared the entire weekend with an ear infection. Outside of that, the docs are fine. My problem is with the staff in general. I understand that have the market cornered as far as being the "only game in town" for the time being, but my impressions of the staff is that they are curt, impatient and at times....rude! I won't banter on about my experiences, but does anyone out there have a really good pediatrician? I'd rather not go to Reston, Ashburn or beyond, but if that's what I need to do to get decent support from a pediatrician, that's what I'll do.
